If a Pirate were to step on shore to bury or retrieve their treasure, they would be surrounded by alligators!!! They had to learn how to battle, and even wrestle the alligators to get their beloved gold. Many of the tricks and stunts you see in gator shows today were derived from rum filled pirates.
